Welcome to Gert Broekema

 

I’m a Dutch designer based in Denmark, creating bespoke leather goods and unique home furnishings, always following my passion for making things that inspire me. Before moving to Denmark, I spent over 20 years working in the film industry—in both Los Angeles and Amsterdam.

That experience shaped my sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and love of craftsmanship—qualities I now bring into every piece I design.

 

I take great pride in crafting each item by hand, one at a time. For me, it’s about creating something-by design and craftmanship-that makes both you and me feel special. Much like a film-a personal story, which I believe reflects our individual lives and unique sense of style.
